6월 21일 What to do when you're not workingSince I haven’t been working this week and this was the first day I didn’t have an appointment to go to, I decided to go to the beach and take Bowie for a walk. It may look crappy out, but that was just the marine layer. It eventually burned off and it was hot today. We only walked for about an hour, but I got a blister from my sandals.  When I got home I started the cleaning and pretty much bleached my whole kitchen. I think it’s sanitized now. I still need to clean my bathroom and the bed rooms, but I can do that tomorrow. The employment agencies have been sending my resume out so I’m just waiting on some call backs. I went through so many job listings yesterday I just didn’t want to today. Maybe Monday, when the new stuff comes out. That is all for now. I have homework and we’re about to eat dinner.6월 16일 Friday ended up bad :(So Friday afternoon, my boss comes in like he always does, but this time he says, “This is hard for me, but we are laying you off.” Of course I’m hurt and confused. I wasn’t expecting it. I think I will be ok, actually I know I will be ok. I’ve called family and friends and they are all supportive. I have an appointment on Monday with an employment agency to see if they can help me find work and I have a friend who is trying to get me into her company. I just have to wait until Monday. I still feel sad and concerned how Dave and I will get through. Things work out though and everything happens for a reason.
The thing I am most proud of, they did not see me cry. For those of you who know me, I cry when I’m frustrated, angry, really happy, and sad. So for this to happen to me and not a tear shed while I packed up my desk that is huge. Maybe I am growing up. 6월 15일 This WeekIt’s been an uneventful, eventful week. I taught myself how to fry squid and it turned out awesome. I almost beat Oblivion 100% except for one thing I have to start over to get. I guess that’s ok. I like the game. My 360 also started it's blog. The link for that is above. I've named it Schlammy and it seems to enjoy our times together. BluStorm3D and I are making our way through Gears of War. This is my second time, but I love the game so it’s been fun. We are also planning a Master of Ceremonies Achievement date for June 23rd. I just hope with all the house cleaning and laundry I can get some gaming in. I also found out this morning that my dog is scared of hairspray cans. The video above shows her barking and running from it. The things she decides she scared of are strange. She was scared of a brush, toilet paper tube, and the charger to my laptop. She usually gets over it within a few minutes, but she was not getting past what ever it was about that can that freaked her out. I almost forgot to mention that my doctor fixed me and I'm not coughing anymore. Yippy!!! And that I broke the "A" off of my laptop and I don't know if it can be fixed.
6월 9일 Giante SquidsThose squids are just as slimey as they look. And Ryan got inked in the crotch of his pants. I'm hoping squid ink washes out. Dave just got done cleaning all of it and we bagged some to freeze. He's trying to clean the beaks up so the boys can have a souvenir. He's boiling them and even though that is not an edible part of the squid, it actually smells really good. Tomorrow we will cook some with a recipe I found that actually sounds really tasty. I will let you all know if it actually does taste good. Making the coughing stop!So I've been coughing for the last week or so and I am very tired of it. It makes it hard to work and sleep and I feel like I am bothering everyone around me. The only good thing is I think I'm getting on heck of an ad workout since they're sore from all the coughing.  I guess I should just go to the doctors, again. Have I mentioned that I think my doctor is a loon? She felt the need to tell me that one of her patients beleives that the aliens are coming to save us and she wispered it incase anyone heard. I liked her because of her granola side, but I think I need to change doctors and that can be hard with HMO insurance.  6월 2일 Homework sucks and my head hurtsNext week is the last week for the two classes I'm taking right now. I'm getting tired of school, but I still have a long way to go. My head hurts so much but I don't know if it's from homework stress or financail stress. Money issues suck too. My darling husband just went to the stor for me and got me Advil and ice cream. I should start to feel better soon. I really want to rip my eye out right now, but I think that will hurt more... |
I'll find out durning lunch. **Update** They can't fix it. I need to order a keyboard from Dell and have Best Buy install it for me. Crap!!!!
